TTMechanics - Small engine and equipment repair and service in Snohomish

Creation of TTMechanics

We at TTMechanics want quality and honesty to always come first.

The business owner has been a mechanical, do-it-yourself kind of guy all his life.  One day, he purchased a new commercial mower from a local shop for use in his landscape maintenance business.  That mower worked great for up to a year before it started giving him issues.  He knew he could fix it himself, but figured since the mower is under warranty why should he?  So he sent the mower back to the local shop from which he purchased it under warranty.  He explained what was needed to be done to fix it, in hopes that it would be a fairly quick turnaround.  Two weeks later, he gets a call back saying that they got the mower back and didn’t believe it was fixed.  Stopping by their shop only confirmed his worries.  Being upset and let down, he said he would go ahead and fix it himself.  He told them that he figured that since it was under warranty that he shouldn’t have to fix it himself.  The shop manager told him, ‘I’ll tell you what, keep track of your time and costs in parts and we will pay you for it’.  After loading up the mower, he headed back to his shop thinking that these days it is hard to find someone reliable, even when you did the hard work diagnosing the issue.   This is the day that he decided that maybe it was time to change his line of work.  He could do work out of his own shop, and put dishonest parts-pushing shops out of business and support honest ones like the one he had been doing business with.  So, he called up that local shop later that day and asked if they would take him on as their mechanic.  From that day on, August 10th 2012, we have proudly been their contracted mechanic.  Today, we continue to expand, keeping quality and honesty as our number one priority.

We are here for you; where quality and honesty come first!

There are a lot of shoddy and shady mechanics out there these days and this problem is growing.  We want to correct this by becoming the best mechanic shop in Washington State.  We hope that our quality of service and honesty will drive others to follow or cause our competition to otherwise loose customers and fade away.

About Us

Quality

We treat everything like it is our own.

Nowadays, it is very hard to get quality work done. We take pride in doing quality work.

We won’t throw parts at the issue. We will work hard to find the problem and correct it.

Everything that comes in our door we treat like it is our own; whatever the issue is, we will work hard in correcting it the first time.  We take pride in the work that we do, because we have a mission and that mission is to be the best mechanic shop in Washington State.  Why you ask?  Over the years, I have gone through many mechanics and I have seen many mechanics throw parts at an issue, and never actually correct the problem, and then throw it back to the customer.  This really upsets me, for the customer’s time is valuable. Most customers need their equipment back right away and DO NOT WANT to come back again for the same exact problem that it went in for.  I want to change this.  Quality work is one of our number one goals.  We are not happy unless you, the customer, are happy.  We work hard on correcting the issue the first time.

Honesty

Honesty is extremely important; without it there is no trust.

These days most people don’t trust anyone with anything.

We work extremely hard in creating trust with our customers.  Out of all the mechanics I used to go to it was very hard to let go and put some trust in them.  When they did shoddy work, and I had to return the equipment to them for the same issue, it made me extremely irritated.

With all the work we do, we take pride, care, and document everything.  When needed, we will take pictures and provide video to help prove what was going on and why.  We always hold onto the old parts, and will give them back to the customer upon request (please specify before work is done; unless it is something we feel we need to show regardless).  It is one of our goals to build trust with our customers.  They can rest assured that we are there for them.
